WineFest 2019 – Food Truck Registration
PRICING: $150 per block (blocks consist of 10′ frontage x 15′ depth)
WineFestNJ 2019 is New Jersey’s longest running and most attended wine and music festival. We invite you to apply to be a food vendor at this years event.
EXPLANATION: Food trucks and restaurant participation in WineFest 2019 will be priced based on square footage used by each vendor. The following should be calculated into your display size: tent size, truck size, hitch size (which protrudes from your trailer), signage, tables, awnings, work space behind your food truck/display, etc. The maximum depth allotted to each food truck is 15′. You can purchase additional width/frontage blocks but the depth will always remain at 15′ maximum. If your display exceeds 10′ in width you will need to purchase additional blocks. If you have a 16′ trailer – that is a minimum of 2 blocks. If you have a 10′ trailer with an hitch that extends out another 12 inches – you will need to purchase 2 blocks. If you have a 20′ trailer and need room for a grill and fryer on the right side of your display – you will need to purchase 3 blocks. Keep in mind that we are also allocating additional footage for truck/trailer maneuvering into spaces. For this reason we need to know your exact truck/trailer/display size.
IMPORTANT: In the past we did not regulate display size. This year we are focused on providing a better customer experience. Space is limited. We need to know exactly how much space our food trucks will be taking up before we can determine how many tickets we will be selling to this event. You will not be permitted to setup without paying additional fees (plus penalties) if your display does not match the amount frontage that you purchased in this application.
The number of food vendors permitted at our events is tied to the total or projected guest count. We expect our food vendors to be fully staffed and capable of serving a large number of guests in a relatively short window of time. If customers are waiting a long time for food – we will automatically increase the number of food vendors that we invite back the following year or event. Last year we reduced attendece for several reasons; the primary reason was the 8 days of rain prior to the festival. The secondary reason was our concern of complaints the previous year about long lines for services. This year we will be selling significantly more tickets than in 2018. Please be staffed properly so we do not have to decrease attendance again in 2020.
You will receive an email several weeks prior to the event with festival details, rules, regulations, and load-in/load-out details. Remember that acquiring your Board of Health permit and your NJ Fire Safety Permit (RIMS) are your responsibility. Insurance and Board of Health Certifications must be submitted with your application. RIMS permit may take longer, if you are able to navigate New Jersey’s website. If you can not – be sure to have a check ready for $42.00 payable to the NJ Division of Fire Safety. Inspectors may be at the event.
If your insurance renews before the event date than a new COI must be submitted to us as soon as your insurance renews. If your insurance lapses and we do not receive a new COI within 10 days of your renewal date your invitation will be declined and we will have to find another vendor as a replacement.
The Burlington County MOBILE RETAIL FOOD ESTABLISHMENT APPLICATION can be downloaded at http://www.co.burlington.nj.us/DocumentCenter/Home/View/3061 . If you are not sure if you are a packaged food crafter and are not sure if you are required to have a Board Of Health Permit, please contact the Board of Health at 609-268-5548 (Contact George Hamway)
The NJ Division of Fire Safety is required for any open flames at WineFest 2019. If you are participating in these events you can probably apply for a permit for all of our events for the entire year at one time. To aquire this you must use the state website (worst website in the world) and register for a RIMS login. http://www.nj.gov/dca/divisions/codes/RIMS_online.html You will then login to RIMs with a username and password and apply for a permit.
Be sure to upload your logo or trademark, and include your website/facebook page, so that we can use this in the promotion of the event.
Festival Managers will review your menu and may not approve certain items because they conflict with other food vendors. We will notify you if any items on your menu are not approved. If this occurs we will give you the opportunity to submit new items or you may decline and we will issue a 100% refund on menus submitted before August 1, 2019.
DISCLAIMER: This form is an application to participate in WineFestNJ 2019. Its completion does not guarantee approval. If we review your application and see too many conflicts or other issues we may deny your participation and will then issue you a full refund.
